 MARYLAND RESIDENTS: Participants must take this course prior to purchasing a handgun. Beginner to Advanced-level course. If you already possess your MD HQL Course, you will still need to attend this class, but will also be eligible for your UTAH and Florida Non-Resident Permits for legal carry in 36+ states, including VA. ​

Four-hour Maryland Handgun Qualification License Course extensively covers handgun safety, shooting fundamentals, handgun safety, ammunition, malfunctions, fundamentals of shooting for accuracy, cleaning, escalation of force, relevant Maryland and Federal legal review. This course meets the training requirements to submit application for MD HQL Permit for firearm purchase, including required Live-Fire Portion. Also includes instruction and everything needed to apply for a Utah Non-Resident Concealed Firearm Permit for legal carry in 33+ states (Maryland electronic fingerprinting NOT included).
